SERVICE TIMES

Christ Place Church has three service times. Our Pastoral Green Room is backstage and is available for your personal use. We would like you to preach at all three services: Saturday at 6:00pm and Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15am.

 

MESSAGE LENGTH

35 minutes or less. When you open your message, please give a quick greeting to our campuses, and online audience. Please close your message with a prayer. During this time our service host will come up to the platform and address the audience after your prayer. They will celebrate something specific about your message, and then give a short salvation message. The worship team will come out on stage five minutes before your message is finished and will begin playing background music. A timer will be on the back screen for you.

 

SERMON NOTE SLIDES

Our tech team in front of house runs all of the slides. Please submit a copy of your manuscript by noon on the Wednesday before your weekend to preach with any main points or scriptures highlighted in the color gray. This can be sent to robin.martinez@christplace.church.

 

NEXT STEPS & CHALLENGE

If you need more clarity after reading these, please reach out: 

  • Each week on our connection card we give the congregation a chance to go deeper in their walk with Christ by responding to next steps. Please help us in providing 2-3 next steps a person could take after hearing your message.
  • Please provide a challenge to the congregation that you’ll speak about in your message. This could end up being one of your next steps. We provided this in our guest letters.
  • Please e-mail the next steps and challenge to robin.martinez@christplace.church.

 

DRESS ATTIRE RECOMMENDATIONS

Casual. Avoid solid whites, reds or small busy patterns. Jeans are acceptable.

 

ARRIVAL TIME, PARKING, AND HOST INFORMATION

A host may be assigned to you, guiding you through your time with us. Please arrive at 5:15pm on Saturday and 8:45am on Sunday for our volunteer Team Huddle. Park in a visitor space. Meet in the Lobby by the Info Center located under the center staircase.

 

PASTORAL GREEN ROOM

Before service begins, you’ll be escorted backstage to the Pastoral Green Room. You’re welcome to this room before and after each service and welcome to the refreshments provided.

 

SOUND CHECK & PLATFORM

Sound Check will take place after Team Huddle in the Main Auditorium. The Audio Tech will meet you at our production booth at the back of the Main Auditorium and will provide directions on how to use the microphone as well as get you fitted for wearing it. You will also be asked to speak briefly on stage so he/she can get a quality audio level. While you’re doing sound check, take some time to investigate our preaching platform.

 

MESSAGE RECORDING

The message will be video and audio recorded and will be uploaded to Christ Place’s website.

 

WORSHIP PROGRAMMING

If you have requests for worship programming to support your message, please submit this request 10-14 days prior to speaking at Christ Place and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
