WHY & HOW DO WE GIVE?

When you give to Christ Place, you partner with us in our mission to see Souls Saved and Lives Changing.

At Christ Place we teach and practice the Biblical principle of tithing, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. God not only calls us to give as an act of obedience but to give generously! For everyone who calls Christ Place their home, we also challenge you to pray about if God is leading you to give ABOVE & BEYOND your tithe to something that we call Vision Builders. 3 MONTH TITHE CHALLENGE

Malachi 3:10 says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the LORD Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

We have several options for you to choose from that make giving to our church easy, safe and secure. You can opt to give online, via text messaging on your mobile device, during one of our services, or by one of there other methods mentioned below.

TEXT TO GIVE

When it’s not convenient to use your checkbook or pocket cash, try our Text To Give option. From your smartphone, simply text the dollar amount to 84321. To give to a specific fund, include “General” for General Fund, “Vision” for Vision Builders, or “Debt” for Debt Reduction after your total dollar amount and the fund will be confirmed during setup.

When a donor initiates their first Text-to-Give donation, our system will respond with a message that includes a setup link. Tapping this link will take them to their mobile browser, and walk them through these steps:

1. Find your church: Giving will use the donor’s geographical location and phone number to suggest churches nearby (within 20 miles). If your church is not listed, or the donor isn’t within the geolocation radius, they can search by your church’s address, city, or ZIP code, and filter results by church name.

2. Log in to your profile: After choosing a church, donors will be asked to enter their name and email address to either create a new donor profile (first-time donors) or login to access their existing donor profile (returning donors).

3. Add or select a payment method: First-time donors can add a payment method to be used for this initial donation and future donations. Existing donors can log in to their profile to select a previously saved payment method.

4. Submit the donation: Once a donor submits their donation, this will initiate that first donation and enable Text-to-Give for future use.

After setup, donors can simply text their donation amount to 84321 to initiate an online donation.

CHECK

Physical checks should be made payable to “Christ Place Church” and can be given in person on the weekend, or sent to our central office. Please make sure to note any designation in the memo (i.e. General Fund, Vision Builders, etc).
