Position Summary

Join our Kids Ministry! We’re looking for an energetic, people-first communicator who loves making things happen behind the scenes and alongside a passionate team. In this role, you’ll help bring our church’s mission to life for kids and families every weekend. You’ll work side-by-side with our Kids Ministry Director and a crew of dedicated teammates who show up every week ready to create something vibrant, fun, and life-changing. We seek a relational administrative communicator who will replicate the mission of the church within the lives of children and families.

Job Responsibilities

Kids’ Ministry Weekend Support

  • Ensure PCO service schedules and content are updated and utilized to their full potential.
  • Ensure CP Kids and PCO calendars are up-to-date and communicated with staff, teams and families.
  • Manage Kid’s Creative is schedule and teams.
  • Support the service Hosts to ensure they are communicated with and equipped to lead.
  • Prepare pro-presenter and USB drives for each ministry area.
  • Reproduce curriculum and content so that it is prepared with all the required supplies.
  • Support the content needs of the tech team.
  • Manage all monies donated and collected in offerings ensuring the processing of funds according to policy.

Departmental Communications and Marketing

  • Manage departmental communication at the administrative level for dedications, baptisms, all church events and campaigns.
  • Oversee weekly email communication.
  • Actively manage Instagram and Facebook on a weekly basis.
  • Verify Marcom requests are carried out in a timely fashion.
  • Stay diligent to ensure communication and marketing stay “on brand” and in alignment with Kid’s Ministry Brand Manual

Qualifications:

  • You have an expressed willingness to carry out ministry strategies that meet the spiritual needs of children and families.
  • You are a self-motivated self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • You possess the ability to effectively work in various software applications.
  • You are organized with a strong eye for detail and a desire to achieve levels of excellence in communication.
  • You are growth-oriented with a bias for action.
  • You love investing their time and talents in children and parents.
