Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and passionate individual who loves telling stories of life change through videography, social media, graphic design, web design, and more. This position keeps up with the latest trends in video, social, and design to creatively share what Jesus is doing through Christ Place. The number one objective of the Creative Content Coordinator is to produce creative content in support of the vision and initiatives of the Marketing and Communications Department.

Job Responsibilities

Video Creation | Editing

  • Films and produces in-house videos collaborates with contracted vendors.
  • Video editing to include oversight of all facets of production from pre-production to post-production.
  • Shoot location management.
  • Consistent development of story videos showcasing the life-change happening at Christ Place Church.
  • Dream Team development and management.
  • Monthly work flows in the production of baptism testimonial videos.
  • The development and production of departmental and church-wide recap/highlight videos.

Additional Creative Content

  • Assists in creation of design-layout of in-house printed and digital content.
  • Manages website and CP app with photos, videos, and additional content.
  • Supports of social media management/ strategy.
  • Assists in coordinating production logistics with internal and external partners from receiving deliverables.
  • Leads design projects for sermon series, ministry events, and church-wide events.
  • Keeps up with multi-media trends (social media, podcasts, story videos, etc.) and contextualize such for Christ Place.
  • Manages the CP YouTube channel.
  • Uploads sermons to Libsyn, YouTube, Subsplash and Vimeo.

Weekend Support

  • Owns and manages weekend content creation and coordinating.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Experience in a video editing applications and software such as: Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and Davinci Resolve.
  • Experience using various types of photo and video cameras and lighting equipment.
  • Some experience in graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • A creative thinker with a strong eye for design, branding, and storytelling.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in order to meet deadlines with excellence.

Preferred:
• Experience with web design applications.
• Experience leading creative teams (design, video, content creation).
